No humour? Some of the cut scenes in NG2 were downright hilarious! They're dead right about how the game makes you want to keep continuing - if that represents bad design then I dunno.

I loved Pokemon Snap, always thought there was so much more potential in the idea. It'll be really interesting to see if they pick up on stuff like teasing the animals, throwing them food, getting them across to certain areas and stuff in this game.
I don't think that makes his review any less credible, this article seems to be suggesting that because he found story aspects lacking he just doesn't 'get' the game and therefore isn't qualified to be reviewing it.
Hilarious. Eurogamer didn't like MGS4 (giving it an awful review score of only 8..) so it must be because they lack sophisticated enough taste to appreciate its blending of movie and game, rather than because they just found it to be lacking.

I don't really understand the comparisons between these two games. I mean both involve building things but that's really about it, seems like what you're building and how it affects gameplay are completely different in each.
This was an awesome game, but World of Illusion was so much better - one of the greatest co-ops on the mega drive and that's saying something.
Banjo and Gears, that alone's a pretty kickass lineup. I'm interested in whatever Rare's other thing is too (KI3 please.. please?)

Quite frankly the DLC is reason enough - whatever it ends up being I'd rather have the choice of getting it than not at all. Hopefully the versions on both systems will play exactly the same
Time Crisis should have easily made that list, and at least one of the Smackdown games. I don't know how Crash 2 gets on there instead of 3 either..
I wouldn't buy a new console for built in bluray, but if they bring out an add-on I'd definately get that
Well, when I buy a new console I don't do so to shoot sticky wads over how reliable it is, in other words, I don't buy it to value the hardware. I've had numerous consoles crap out over the years including a Dreamcast and a SNES, and although my 360 remains intact thus far I'm quite happy to have it fixed or replaced if (when, lol) it breaks. The reason I have one at all is to play good games on it, not to sit and admire the workmanship that's gone into it.

Well I'm starting to believe now that this extra content will be pretty substantial, after thinking since basically it was announced that it would just be some minor side missions or whatever. Pretty sure i'll be getting it.
This + some awesome Rare games and I just might end up getting a 360 remote after all.
